i went out with a friend, and basically spent the entire day walking around in another town. we had a lot of good food and chatted about fun things~ i even got some cute little trinkets and a beautiful new journal. i mainly got it with the intention of using it to pick up learning mandarin again-- i really enjoyed doing so for the past two years in school, but dropped it this year. and as you can probs already tell, i regretted that. but maybe i'll learn more on my own this year! i also sorta wanna continue my korean studies, too.
what's sorta funny is that we missed our means of transportation both to go there, and to come back. so we got there about 50 minutes later, and left 50 minutes later than we anticipated... T_T but it was still fun! it's actually really unusual for me to be out after dark, but it was so beautiful. the lights, the air, the cold and the water... some people still out and about but everything quieter than it was before... something about it was really... youthful and sweet? if that makes sense? like, taking in all of its beauty really reawakened me.
and i've never been much of a picture person, but i wanted to take so many. seeing it as we left somehow struck... a finality. letting go of something. i don't know what it could be, but i feel a lot lighter, more peaceful. i dunno. today was just really good ^^
and i'm seriously craving apple juice now... so i'm gonna go get some. bye bye~
