i can't believe all the things i do

nothing new going on, still working n occasionally scrolling through pinterest coding inspo to empty my mind. also quizzes! fun~ (would u guys liked it if i shared some quizzes i liked taking b4 or--) 

the essay's almost complete, my brain's almost completely broken, i can see a free friday in the future... and then lots of coding and fun things for a whole month!!!!!! maybe even getting into art!!! or sewing!!! writing!!! ps vita!!! anything but academia!!!

speaking of anything. lately i've been thinking again about those doodle lyric videos from hsac4life i mentioned some months ago. i've always wanted to try my hand at them, though i'm not super great with markers... maybe i'll just do some pencil doodle lyric vids over the break, and see how those turn out. i wanna try daphne loves derby first! and then maybe i could try kpop or jpop lyric vids...? i dunno, we'll see~

my mom made cookies today, a strangely soft kind topped with sprinkles for an extra sweet crunch. they're really good. but for some reason, it made me think a lot more about traditional / specialty sweets, and sweets shops.

i had a really nice afternoon today~

i got a message an hour after i woke up from the magazine's finance lead, saying that writers and designers could pick up their copy of the magazine if they didn't attend the party. i didn't know whether or not i should (ahaha, decay of confidence...), but my mom insisted on it, and drove me over to the pick-up spot (long walk from train station, and i've been really tired lately? even if i get good sleep-- anyway).

soooooo, i have a magazine now! it's a lot bigger than past issues i've seen, unless i just never noticed their size. and it's so pretty, and of course the writing is top notch too~~~ i'll take some pics later to share.

after that, we went down to the main shopping street by campus, and i looked through the cd stores. one of them, i saw they had an at the drive-in cd and a cd from a band i've been meaning to get into online, but... not at that particular location. which was okay! bcuz then, when i went to look at the other store, there was in / casino / out for a whole dollar less than what it would have been!!!!!!! new, and wrapping in plastic film!!!!!!!! score >:'3 i listened to it on the way back, hehe. and the person who rang up the cd said it was a solid record back to back, which... yes. it so is *_*. but i didn't want to start spilling my atdi fan excitement everywhere and make a fool of myself, so i only laughed..........bleuuuugh

so, yeah. i'm feeling very musically refreshed~ n now i can have more atdi songs for my morning commute :') more energy...

pretty standard wednesday, still doing work on my final essays n stuff. but! it was the final day of in-person meeting for my asian american studies class. monday was the final in-person meeting for my art class. and tomorrow is my last day of in-person instruction in general... i almost wanted to cry, actually. despite being so stressed, i'm having a pretty good time. or, i had a good time. and now, things will change... hopefully the fun will keep rolling with me :)

i started rebuilding the kat-tun fansite. dunno what i'm really gonna put there, still, but it feels nice to be building a site again, haha.

lately i've been having bolero on repeat. again. especially as i'm returning to my old ideas inspired by mei's butler and my former interest in lolita fashion. i remember when i got pinterest for the first time and saw all the lolita coords; i thought they were the cutest ever, and wanted to dress up as them when i got older. alas, it's not meant to be. i'm not comfortable wearing dresses anymore, and i really loved the dresses most of all...

did i ever share the link to my mei's butler-ish quiz? i don't remember. if you haven't taken it before, you can do so here~ (only male results btw) let me know what you think of it!!! i've taken a look back at my quotev account and found that i had a second part in the works... i sorta want to revive it, i miss making quizzes... it's nowhere near midnight where i am, but of course, some are already in the new year. 

so, happy new year! i hope 2025 is filled with happiness and love. it's sure to be an... eventful year ahead, to say the least, but. i do believe there is light to be found in all places, no matter how big or small.

do you guys set resolutions? it's never really been a thing for me. but regardless, i do hope that i make it through this year and start the next chapter of my life beyond high school well :). and that i stay with this blog and spacehey!!! two of my favorite places fr, i'm so grateful to be there~ i especially hope i talk to more ppl! but we'll see~
