today was a good day.
i've been feeling a little restless, so i went out with my mom to the korean market today. restocked on snacks and drinks for the upcoming school year, as well as a new lunch container. then we had lunch (i had a potato mozzarella cheese stick and my mom had a garlic cream cheese bun), and wandered around the plaza.
our first stop was the secondhand media store, where i got a cozy mystery book and another tohoshinki cd! (it was in the clearance section, lucky me~) (also, someone put a pet shop boys cd in the kpop section. what. lolz.) but i also got to wander around, look at the manga they had, and the art books, and the video games, and everything else... ugh. i love physical media stores.
then we went to look at shoes. there were some cute boots i saw, but didn't get them. maybe i'll save up for them this fall.
after that, we went into the craft store. i got some fabric paint, since i've been meaning to customize a couple of my shirts n hoodies for a while. i need to test it out first, but no worries. i bet my mom has a bunch of scraps i could do so on.
i'm going to go out again tomorrow, to the bayside town's library. i have a lot of books to return. and if the last semesters are anything to go off of, it'll probably be my last opportunity to go for a while.
this coming week will be the last week before school starts. i should be able to get my new e-reader sometime this week, my books... notebooks? i dunno. and finish up the last of the things i want to do. i already started my new web project (taking my edits and putting them in a site, adding the story, etc.), some final crafts. i also want to bake something and share it with my friends. and maybe get proper beadweaving thread? i really don't know.
when you guys have massive gaps in your school schedule, what do you do? i'm hoping to get an on-campus job, but in the event that i can't, what should i do (aside from study, visit the computer lab, go to the library)? it'll be a good five hours...

i like potatoes and mozzarella sticks.. a potato mozzarella cheese stick sounds delicious. also yayyy a new cd!! and it was on clearance. score~ with just about everything becoming digital these days, it's reassuring to know that physical media stores still exist, lol.
i love a good pair of boots! i definitely wanna get some more pairs as fall and winter come. they're so fun and comfortable to wear, and it's always a nice break from wearing tennis shoes. i hope you can get the boots soon :D
i have a few gaps in my school schedule, but they're usually like 2-3 hours. during that time i usually have lunch, do homework, and go on my phone. hopefully you can get a job to fill that time, but if not, you could sit down and have a meal, take a walk and listen to music, watch a show or movie, visit with your professors if you need, or join more clubs! whatever you feel like doing~
it is!!! i hope you're able to try some one day, nara~ (i wonder if u can get some online? :?) and ikr???? i love that they still exist, and i love that enough people go to them so they can continue existing! makes me so happy~
yessss, def. sometimes i think they're more comfortable than tennis shoes tbh, i think they have better ankle and arch support... but i think that's just because i wear converse all the time, OOPS. thank u! :3
