hihi! i have a new question~! it's sort of similar to the fan café question i asked a while back, but a little more specialized...
if you could represent your favorite group in a crêpe, what would you add to it?
i think i'll base my crêpe off of dbsk, since i just finished watching the concert dvds i got.
first of all? it's definitely a sweet crêpe. and because the fanbase(cassiopeia)'s color is red, it'll def have mostly red toppings. i would also make the crêpe itself red, but that would make it either super sweet or interfere with the gentle crêpe flavor, so i'm putting that on the backburner right now... though, perhaps finely ground freeze-dried strawberries added to the dried ingredients might not be so bad? hm hm, i dunno...
anyway. the best things flavor combinations usually come in threes, right? so while the crêpe provides a gentle / neutral base, i was thinking the main add-ons would be strawberries, chocolate or raspberry syrup, and handmade whipped cream. instead of something just from a bottle or tub, it would be ideal to make it yourself, so it can actually have a flavor and not have a strange mouthfeel. (i seriously don't like commercial whipped cream... it always makes me feel sick, bleugh.) i'm not sure between chocolate and raspberry syrup, because while choco is a total classic, raspberry might also provide a well-needed tart punch in between all the sweetness, you know? maybe both? i've had a crêpe that can pull it off before, the actual crêpe itself just needs to be a little thicker to provide a stronger base. ah, or maybe one of them could be an ice cream / sorbet added on... contrast in both flavor and temperature?
ah! and of course, there would be some writing in chocolate or a little toothpick standee added to it. as a freebie?
but yeah, that's my crêpe idea. it might work better as a cake, tbh. oh well! what's yours~?
... this question came about as i went to a boba shop today that also served crêpes. and then i got to thinking about my bygone old kpop store and café idea. i was thinking, that for anniversary events or something similar, the shop would serve crêpes or other specialty foods based on the group. there's a bakery near me that makes special macarons and/or for group comebacks, if the local fanbase guild collaborates with them. and in genearl, there's a lot of comeback, bday, and group anniversary events. i just wish it happened more for older groups ㅠㅠ. (over here, i mean.)

my snsd crêpe would definitely be rolled, and pink with cream cheese filling. i think sliced strawberries and blackberries would be nice toppings. then, a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar too! all served with a glass of milk~ as for decoration, i think a simple GG logo on the side drawn with strawberry syrup could be really cute!! ^_^
WAIT I LUV THIS!!!!!!!!! i would def order it if i saw it on a menu *_* strawberries and blackberries are perfect contrast, esp with the cream cheese!
