i'm feeling calm today, but not better. not well. such will probably take a while. i tried to make a new blogger account for this, but it fell through. i'm still trying to think of ways to keep my loved ones and i safe, and ways to keep this space safe, but the general feeling of doom is getting to me, too. other than that, again, everything's been strangely...calm. normal, but not. it's unsettling.
so, if it's alright, i'd like to chat about something comforting.
what's your favorite color? mine is black. i know in some cases it's not an option, but if black isn't an option, then my answer isn't really certain. it often changes with my mood. it's the color i look best in, complements anything and everything, and honestly, always the most comfortable. something about the way black clothes cradle me feels so warm and soft.
i like to hide. i like to be blanketed by shadows.
it's honestly pretty funny, how the way i design my corner(s) of the internet conflict with how i dress in my day-to-day life, and how that conflicts with that i love in terms of natural landscapes. here, i am inspired by my nostalgia. everything's bright and cute, futuristic. in real life, i mostly wear neutral comfy clothes. and in terms of natural beauty, i am in love with the forest.
how fascinating, the multiple facets of the human mind are. how much we can fall in love with and feel embraced by.
anyway. i got a couple of interesting new books at the library the other day, so i'm going to go read those. maybe i'll play some splatoon, too. go do something you love today, okay?
