anyway. GAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
school is starting in less than a week, and i'm so not readyyyyyyy... i've got my books put together, my notebooks, my e-reader is coming in the mail soon... i've got my new back, which i'll be customizing, some new music for my ipod... i have most of my books needed for my classes, others i have to search around in other libraries for... i think i might even bring my ps vita! could be fun, who knows. now that i won't bring my computer (trying, for the sake of my focus), i might have something to do.
my school's also opened up the volunteer research project hub, so i've been looking through that. each one requires a 450-word personal statement, so that'll be my next thing to do as the month winds down. there's a lot of digital archival going on, which makes me happy. i wish i could get paid for it, but we get units, so... that's something, i guess. and experience. (but don't worry, i'm still looking at on-campus jobs.)
other than that, i've been scouring viki rakuten for dramas to watch. i found a few that have been on my list, so i'm really happy. i even found the drama jaejoong was in, protect the boss! but you have to pay for an account to view it................ i just wanna see pretty jaejoong................ ㅠㅠ
i've also been playing some classic animal jam recently (separate post coming on that soon)... and chilling in a music chatroom, which was really fun. got to listen to a lot of new music, and i even met ppl who also knew the dynasty warriors and jet set radio soundtracks! and then they started a long halo playlist to reminisce on the sad endings of it. hehe.
... remember how i mentioned some months back that my favorite childhood boba shop was closing? well, a new one is opening in its spot. i'm going to try and make its opening day to see how it'll be (it's a local chain, so i'm already fairly familiar). hopefully i won't let the sadness overtake my curiosity of a new boba place.
oh, also!!! i've started putting together the site for my winter web project, finally. i'm so excited. i really want to show you guys, but it has a password on the front page, and i wanna make it all secret and stuff... so if i post it here, it won't be all secret and stuff. i really wanna show you guys, though. how would you like me to do so?

i know this feeling all to well. you've got just about everything you need for the new school year except the desire to actually go to school! that feeling of dread is something serious.
the volunteer research project sounds really cool! it would be nice to get paid, but perhaps the experience can be worth more. i hope you enjoy the experiences!
a new boba shop, how exciting!! :D it may not surpass the old shop, but hopefully it will give you some new warm memories to look back on in the future.
OOOH A PASSWORD?! that's so cool, i've seen a couple of those~ it's like those diaries that came with a lock and key (i had one, hehe). since you wanna keep things kinda secret, maybe you could take a picture of the front page? or just a small section of it..?
