enjoying fairy tales as of late. i watched another cinderella story with my mom, and am currently watching once upon a time. i vaguely remember being really interested in it when i saw previews back when it first started, but i was too young to remember anything. and tomorrow, i'm planning to watch jack and the cuckoo clock heart. or a french beauty and the beast retelling!
ah, and a fitting question, i hope...
if you had to be transported to a fairy tale, which fairy tale would you choose? or classic tale, in general.
i think i would choose... man, idk. i think most of them would suck pretty badly. they're supposed to have morals and teachings about being kind and meek, for the most part... (at least, in western european tardition, which is most of what i know.)
but truthfully, i've always loved tales about the moon and the sun, especially ones where they are in love. the eclipses are when they meet, and they always yearn to see each other. it's always felt rather sweet to me. i'd want to be the moon. and i'd hope it would be a steampunk retelling! steampunk's always fun. a steampunk base on the moon, where the moon character resides... and the sun as a giant machine, with a shy being within... or maybe an urban retelling. at least i'd be more familiar with the world and wouldn't draw too much attention. they face discoveries about their true selves and go into the night sky...
or stone soup. LOLZ. put a stone in a pot and go around the world collecting ingredients... wouldn't be too bad, i guess, aside from potential danger. (okay, actually that's. that's very bad.)
well, anyway. did you guys know that friendrewind offers website hosting with neocities? if you go to the games n activities section, you can see it... hm hm.
i hope to go to the library tomorrow. it's been a while.

did i ask this question before? i feel like i might have
eugene!! hello!!!
fairy tales are honestly some of my favorites~ i've always been a hardcore disney fan, and i also love folk tales, greek mythology, and traditional cherokee storytelling!! i recently watched a cinderella story on an airplane, so i think i might have to tune into another cinderella story too... what's your vote on it?
hmm... as for living in a fairy tale... i gotta agree with you, a lot of them suck when you think about it!! mulan is one of my favorite movies of all time, so i'm tempted to go with that, but i already know i would not last a second in war, so maybe not... xD this is definitely something i'll be thinking about for the rest of the day, lol
also, your mind >>>>> a steampunk retelling of a classic sun and moon story would be INSANE!! i also need to log back into friendrewind and give it an actual shot... nara and i talked about it a while ago, and i think i need to play around with it some more since i'm lowkey becoming a spacehey hater (-_-) what are your thoughts on it? i hope your library trip is fruitful~
i always love reading your blogs~ talk soon~ xoxo
i enjoy fairytales as well! my favorite disney movie is princess and the frog, but i also enjoy tangled and beauty and the beast. i love good food, so i'd probably go with princess and the frog hehe~
ooh celestial love :0 a steampunk base on the moon sounds like the perfect place to have one. i like how you described the sun holding a shy being within in, bc it's so ironic considering how bright and imposing the sun is. it's really cool!
yesss!! i heard about it a few weeks back. isn't that just the coolest thing? i haven't really looked into it, but i think i should soon. i hope you had fun at the library as well!
HI ANTAMA!!!!!!!!!! :D
aaaaaa so cool! i like folk tales as well, and i've been trying to get into filipino folk tales as of late. also... i am so sorry. i thought they were the same movie. i just watched the first one, sorry ㅠㅠ but i liked the movie too!!! i guess we'll both have to see the second one and see how it compares, hehe. and i also really liked mulan! i think that one was my fave growing up, but that might just be because of all the times i had to watch it for school. became attached.
THANK UUUUUU! also i really like friendrewind! the code is taking me a while to get used to, but it's really fun. the forums are really active, and i've always loved how you can have your own playlist on your profile without needing extra code. also appreciate the photos and videos! (also spacehey hate is valid. i gen think an is never going to return, tbh.) also my trip was v fruitful! thank u :333
talk soon antama~ i hope u have a good weekend!
OOOOOOO NICE! the beignets in princess and the frog always looked so good. still haven't had the opportunity to try one <////3 have u? also... what do u think the grey stuff is? lolz. i always thought it would be some sort of fish pate, but supposedly it's sweet?
thank u!!! since u and antama both like it, maybe i should write it, hehe~
and yes!!!!!! it's so awesome of defect to have all this. i hope he gets enough sleep tho, friendrewind is a lot. and i had fun!!! got lots of books. thank u, ehehe :3 hope u have a good weekend!!!
yessss, they are AMAZING!!! there's a beignet shop not far from my house that i've been to a couple times, but nothing beats real new orleans beignets. i went there last summer and got to try some, they were the best. i looked up the grey stuff and it seems to be a cookies-and-cream flavored mousse. it did NOT look that way in the movie but i think i'd try it!
