the convention is tomorrow! i'm excited to finally get out of the house. and! uh. i finally got that super-short haircut i wanted.  

well, not exactly. my hair is straightened right now, so it looks the same length that it has been, but straightened. but when i wash my hair again n it shrinks back, it'll probs be a pixie cut. aside from the bangs... (but that's unavoidable, so i'm not upset.) i'll look a little strange for a while, and my mom isn't super happy with it, but honestly? it's so worth it. i've been wanting hair this short for almost a decade, and now it's here. i don't even care if it ends up looking bad on me, i'm just so happy. and it'll finally be cooler under this mass without needing to put it up in a brain-splitting claw clip or hair tie. idk about you guys, but whenever i put my hair up-- even as gently as possible-- it gives me a serious headache. which is sad, because they're so cute!

but anyway. my mom also said i look like the doctor! and i think that i look like i play space invaders and listen to math rock for eels. so, allons-y... to peak self-realization. still not sure what i should wear, tho.
