thinking out loud.
since i'm not really active on spacehey anymore, i've thinking about what to do with jinpudding for these past few days. aside from changing the layout again to have a cute gif border.
i'll keep the layouts up; it would be a waste to remove them, and they can be used across all anyspace forks iirc. and of course, conversions between platforms with different element names is easy, as i've demonstrated with my myspace conversion posts. but since that section probably won't be updated as often as it used to be (or at all? not sure), i should add more things to the site in general.
i was already considering static website layouts, so i think i'll start there. i also started putting together an extras page (before i changed to the cyclone css) for some widgets and little customizations i wanted to share, so maybe i could bring that back too... perhaps some graphics as well, so i can keep my design skills sharp. icons, banners, backgrounds, things of that nature. maybe i'll start putting together little zines to practice for my music magazine position, too. keep everything sharp~
and maybe some writing stuff? i wanted to put some of my stories (maybe a few story ideas, too) on a little static site, rather than other platforms, which i've already mentioned...
i'm also going to start joining some fanlistings again. i wanted to when i first created jinpudding, but i didn't know how to structure my site then, and so i didn't. i think i have a better idea now.
... speaking of spacehey. i changed my layout earlier this month, shortly after i learned of kat-tun's songs being added to spotify. i think this will be the last change.
what will jinpudding become? jinpudding expansion... more pudding...............
i also have another blogger project in mind. but i'm gonna have to wait until i'm free for summer break before i do anything...

oooh, the extras section sounds so cool! it's like a digital art gallery :D and then a writing site on top of that sounds like such fun~
i'm a little embarrassed but i didn't really know what a fanlisting was until like.. a few minutes ago. if you don't mind me asking, what's it like to be a part of a one?
the idea of that layout potentially being your last change is so bittersweet. it was always enjoyable to see the new layout you had made for the month. if you do decide to step away from spacehey, your presence will be greatly missed! ♡

no need to be embarrassed! it's the indie / old web's nature to be a little elusive, haha. it's pretty simple: you just add your email and website to their database, then you can add their little buttons to your site. it's just a way to show the things you like and connect to a little community based around it. it's a lot simpler and more detached than webrings, though. you'll have to look through the database yourself.

oooooo more pudding for jinpudding! so many ideas! so the site is going to become more like a creative hub? also love that you're killing two birds with one stone with the zine practice for the music magazine! and yay for fanlistings, excited to see it all come together~
i agree with nara, it does feel bittersweet. i really loved checking in on your new layouts every month, but it's understandable!
