i practically just listened to exo all day, lolz.
i didn’t get to go out, but i did want to get moving, so i took out the wii n played some wii fit and just dance :3 fun!!!!! i feel so refreshed~ i’m gonna play them again tomorrow >:0 (unless i actually go out lolz, or maybe both? build my stamina? we’ll see.)
... anyway. i have a special announcement today!
remember how i was thinking of doing a holiday layout swap back in december? but then i got totally swamped with finals. well, thankfully, i won't have to deal with something as load-bearing as finals, sooooooo................
i'm going to host a valentine's layout swap group! well, i hope so. idk how many people would really be interested. fingers crossed, because i reeeeeeely want this to work, eeeeep~
i'm going to create the group and share it with everyone next week. we'll have a week for sign-ups, and then another two (plus a few days) until valentine's day to put together the layouts. and then, they'll debut on the 14th! hopefully. if all goes well and this is a good plan. does that sound alright? i gen take about a few days to complete a layout, but idk how other people work with layouts.
the other thing i really need to think about is how to consider rules, and posting... i'm fairly sure it'll be mostly people in our friend spaces, but i don't want anyone to get uncomfortable if a creep or someone with prejudiced views ends up in the group. i don't want anyone to get layouts made in bad faith. thankfully i can use mod abilities and kick offenders out, but would it be enough? if you know what i mean? i don't even know what i mean anymore.
but yeah. if you have any questions or suggestions for the layout swap group, i would LOVE to read them. love love love love love. i'm scared. EEP. i'm mainly curious about how i'll approach making a layout for another person since i want to try and make custom layouts, so i thought this would be an interesting way to try it out. but i want to make sure everyone else has fun, too.

maybe we could do a sort of drop-down with the summary tag? or maybe set parameters with the textarea tag. in such cases i'll have a post with a template for people top copy and use when debut time comes around. or maybe people can post blogs? ugh, idk.
i love just dance!!! it was one of my favorite activities to dance with family and friends when i was younger.

i get what u mean, everyone should receive a layout made with good intent and kindness! fortunately spacehey has a great majority of good people, with only a few weirdos in the mix. i hope no one will have to deal with bad people.
i want do it, but i'm nervous too! i haven't made custom layouts in sooo long. but i'm sure it will be exciting, this is such a sweet idea eugene!!

i only ever had just dance 3, but my favorite dance was probably beautiful liar or baby one more time bc i love group dances. my siblings and i would just pull up youtube videos of other dances we liked from different games, lol.

that's such an awesome idea~ i'm so glad you're reviving the plan from december ;A; and i'm totally down to join!!! it makes me realize i really need to dust off my own coding skills ;; it's been a minute. (making a custom layout for someone sounds equal parts terrifying..... and so, so fun).
abt the rules and safety stuff... that's a really good point to think about... . maybe a simple list of group rules in the description (like "be cool, no prejudice, layouts made in good faith only!!") could help scare the weirdos away(?). having the power to kick people is a good safety net, yes yes~
