FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!! AND PS VITA!!!!!!!!!!! 

finally finished up the semester. i'm actually feeling pretty okay with how the essay turned out. it's the first time i've really written a philosophy essay, so i don't really have anything to be disappointed about, if that makes sense? like, bleh~ there's a first time for everything. as long as i tried my best.

now, i can completely empty my brain of academia thoughts, and move onto getting lots of rest and doing fun things!!!

after that, i went out to a town near me to get the ps vita i saw some time ago. and to my luck, it was still available!!! i was thrilled. they even gave me a charger to go with it. then my mom wanted to check out a crafts store, so we went there. i picked up a box for a craft idea i've been thinking of. unexpectedly, rain came a lot sooner than predicted, and a lot harder. we were both drenched by the time we got home.

but onto the vita! honestly, it's... it's hard for me to sort of explain it; this is the first handheld / portable console i've owned (there's the switch technically, but i mainly play tv mode on it). it feels really comfortable, though i think that's because the particular model i've picked up (2000) focuses on user comfort more than the first. supposedly, the first is slimmer and not as comfortable to hold. 

the graphics are also so beautiful, clear and glossy in that nostalgic way. each little application has it's own m&m shaped icon, which shifts and bobs with the movement of the screen. and it can do a lot, even without games. it can even load and play videos, music, photos. it can collect emails. i can connect it to my computer and load things on it. do i want to, though...? would it be risky...? i mean, my ipod's fine, but at this point i consider it a supernatural being, lolz................. 

i admit it's seriously tempting to make a jaejoong or akanishi theme for it, though. to have such customization on a games console, was previously unheard of for me. but i'm totally in love with it.

now, i must set another savings goal! i think i wanna get sw4 on it first, so i'll focus on that. tho idk, i might get some other things over the break, too. a month is a long time............ or maybe i'll get a pda. or another cd. (i wanna try getting a dbsk / tohoshinki cd especially... or a kat-tun one... or another at the drive-in one, complete my collection...)

(i'm seeing a pattern between pdas and the vita now... i guess i just really like multimedia devices, regardless of original purpose, lolz. the digitization of things in an older era, which existed alongside physical, is interesting to me. i wish i could study it. alas, i'm just a hopeful collector................)
