i wanted to get this in before midnight strikes-- the last post of the year~ it's already 8:30pm where i am. the 2026 tag is already three and a half hours away...
do you have any goals for the new year? i'm not really much of a resolutions person, or at least i thought i wasn't, until i realized i don't really have to make it so specific. so, i guess i want to learn more craft skills this year. i want to share my art. i want to try more boba and dessert places. aaaaand, i want to read at least one book! whole! it's been a while since i've dove into literature outside of school.
ooh, also. do you celebrate in a special way? my family doesn't really. but my mom got pizza for dinner today, and we made buko salad last night, which is as good as always~ (though, the kaong was expired and we couldn't use it <///3).
i made two layouts for the new year, but i'm currently stuck on which one to go for, when midnight hits. agh!!! it feels like there's so much pressure behind it; this is the mood of the new year!!! it's important!!!!!! gwaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!
well. i guess we'll see what i end up choosing.

i'd say one of my goals for the new year is to hopefully create my very first website. and ofc, work on my anxiety and become more involved at school. reading at least one whole book sounds like a great idea, i may do that too!
i'm ngl i didn't stay up to watch any new year's celebrations or anything. i was laying down trying to fall asleep when i suddenly heard fireworks and that's when i realized it was past 12am :') i hope u enjoyed all the yummy food and time with family!!!

i’m keeping things loose too. i really wanna get into photography properly (once i finally get batteries for my camera lol), keep making stuff, and not overcomplicate it. and YES one whole book is a good goal. achievable. respectable. you should totally do little book reviews too :>
we don’t really celebrate either. i did the same as nara, woke up from the fireworks and immediately went back to sleep lol. also i saw the layout you chose, it’s really nice. super nostalgic. here’s to a good 2026 :]
