end of the week, end of the line?

hi hi~ eugene is back! and with a new weekend update. 

hmmmmm, first of all. stressful! my brain finally started working again, so i've been chipping away at both of my projects due this week. i think i'll be okay, i can't really shake the feeling. really, though, it's probably just my ego...

i mentioned a convention, which i was actually able to go to. though, i did wake up a lot later than i wanted to, so i didn't stay as long as i wanted. i got a few stickers to add to my water bottle, and tried some of the food. the lumpia and meat skewer were really good, but the drink i got was so sweet it made me nauseous... and i paid nine whole doubloons for it :') aaaaaahhhhh. but it's okay. now i know.

after that, i wanted to walk up towards the main shopping street and look at cds, but it was already really late. it would be dark when i got there, and i wouldn't stay long in the dark, so. instead, i went to the nearby library and got myself a library card, and looked around...

it's a really cool one! the most robust out of all the libraries i've been to thus far. five floors!!! the top floor was full of exclusively cds and vinyls, and they even had cd and vinyl players to listen to. super cool. they also had a massive manga collection-- not a lot of shoujo, but it was still really nice to look through. the space also had a small zine library, and tables with pamphlets for resources. i've looked online for their online connections, but i haven't explored them very deeply yet.

i'm excited to look more at their baking and cooking collection, still. i had to cut my time short with them, because of closing time. and i had already piled my arms with a few. i couldn't take them all home~ ㅠㅠ

recently found out one of my favorite local gift stores is hiring for the season. i really wanna apply, but i'm not sure what times i'll really be available. but i'll try it anyway! i've wanted to for the longest time...

well, back to work. blah! deep breaths... it'll all be okay.
