frosted eyeshadow

stayed home today again, and after taking a super long nap, i had some web and mind adventures. 

lately i've been thinking about my old k-pop club, and the possibilities of a new one. the only k-pop clubs in my school are focused on dance, which i'm not interested in... at all... i'm already exhausted walking around so much. 

i sort of want to see if there's potential for a simple social club. another college in the state (the one i wanted to go to... except for cost UGH) has one. they mostly do photocard trading and watch mvs and stuff. i miss that. 

but also. it's sort of hard to have time, you know? most clubs are hosted in the evening, which i can't attend. unless i were to move into student housing. depends on aid in the coming years, or if i get a job. maybe i could. but that's beside the point. and i don't have friends (yet) who would be willing to start it with me.

and to be more specific, i thought it would be interested to form a club based on old kpop, or maybe old korean pop culture in general (similar to koi's 2000s-nyeondae group, ehehe~ that's my main inspo). we'd have meetings to watch old mvs, or variety shows. maybe we'd have a website and discuss things we loved on it through blog posts. maybe even a zine (once more, koi's idea), filled with edits and articles. maybe fanfic or fanart??? lolz. and then i was sort of thinking about how different teams could take names from different prominent groups / the names of their fanbases. like if there was a department (say, photo or whatevs) that wanted to have the name of soshi or sone. like a guild within the organization.

... it sounded so cool in my head, but reading this now i feel a little silly, lolz.

in other news, i'm trying to figure out my layout for november. but i have absolutely no ideas!!! and quite frankly, i feel sorta comfy with the one i have right now.

currently, i'm trying to learn working with photoshop, since the music magazine i'm in relies on it for edits. indesign as well, but photoshop mainly. but i only have the web version accessible, and the app is taking forever to install. and then. the web version crashed. and it keeps crashing, every. single. time. i was sort of putting together an edit inspired by serial experiments lain so is this... is this a sign...

also. found out that daft punk and phoenix have a connection, and in 2010, they played an encore set together. it's literally so sick to see daft punk perform during one of my first fave songs in electronic-adjacent music ever. 1901 has a special place in my heart.

oh omg! also also. jaejoong just uploaded a vid with 3/4 members of csjh. that's so crazy... i love csjh. (the japanese version of boomerang was my spring anthem~)
