mango mousse cake

i love mangoes. 

sorry for missing the post the other day. i actually did get to do some cool things, but couldn't put it all into words at the end of the day...

there was a k-pop event going on in another town's library, so i went to check that out. the event was nice, but frankly i was more interested in the library it was hosted in. three levels, a stone spiral staircase, glass panels!!! the lighting was beautiful, and all the seating, and the layout... ugh. i wish i lived there so i could go there all the time!!!

as for the event itself, there were a few vendors with photocards and other little merch pieces; a station for photocard decorating; a screen for taking photos; and other events going on upstairs (like random play dance), but i didn't really check out those. even though it wasn't really that interesting to me, i hope we're able to get more similar events locally in the future! if they get bigger audiences, that means there could be more variety.

i will note, though. they had a good playlist. when i walked in, h.o.t was playing!!! and they played a couple of bigbang songs too. 

you know, to sort of follow this theme, i wish we could have modern kpop merch for older idols. like, more exo or shinee or snsd phone charms. decorated frames. other things. and j-pop too!!! i know you can request custom stuff on etsy and insta and whatnot, or find old stuff (for super jacked up prices), but. you get the vision, right?

anyway. after that, i went to a café and bakery (separate). got some lunch at the café, which was a too-salty spam musubi ㅠㅠ, and got a little mango mousse cake at the bakery. the cake was really good!!!

and, as for today, i didn't do much... the usual. played samurai warriors, ate food, watched youtube and did some writing. picked up a new book which i'm seriously hoping is good, because it's been on my reading list for so long. so far, i like it. hopefully it keeps up.
