i started putting together some pages for my layout directory on nekoweb.

going through all the docs i have of layouts was pretty interesting, actually. seeing how i've progressed and grown in this particular field... and cringing at how long and convoluted some of them were. why was i using root to change the colors of certain aspects, when i could just list them out in multiple rows and stick an !important on them!!!!!!!!!

i've also been carefully studying for the math placement exam i have coming up. ugh. the stuff is definitely familiar, and i do get it eventually, but i've forgotten how to do a good chunk of it. on top of that, they don't allow calculators, even though i've gone all through high school with one. does it mean they're going to provide one through the service? or? deep sigh. 

dunno what i'm gonna do for the rest of the night. the dream width idea is poking at my brain, but honestly? i have so many sites (and services), i'm more inclined to brush it off as my brain being a crow who likes the idea of shiny new web customizations. which is valid, but i'm really hesitant to share more brain space for it.

i started the (almost) full-body portrait of my oc the other day. but he's too tall, his ankles and feet are not part of the picture. but that's not important; you know what is? how on earth are my drawings better on watercolor with sharpie than on regular paper with a pencil? i mean, i do a general pencil outline, but going over it with sharpie, it looks better than what i originally drew. this is ridiculous. don't get me wrong, i'm glad it works, but huh????????? how.

also random, but. i find that after kat-tun's disbanded, people post less pictures of them on pinterest now???? why................ i'd post more myself, but i've exhausted most of my rare stuff. everything else i've posted here, you can find on there. it's a little sad, but.
