old notebooks

didn't do much today. my first real day of break! pretty nice way to go about it though, i think. 

i worked more on my diy project, got the bleach out of the way and now i can move onto painting tomorrow. i also finally changed my layout for june, but this time i used the recent div overlay one i've been chipping away at... all things considered, i think it turned out well. having to make sure that it looked good between all types of viewers (mobile, app, friend, not friend, self) was a real pain though. again. but totally rewarding, of course.

sorta unrelated, but something about mid / late-2000s doodles are so nostalgic. draw a stickman comes to mind as the main example, but i don't quite remember when it became a thing. i dunno. that specific sort of doodle style, it's not really a thing anymore? it's kept to that short period, but what keeps it tied as such...? same goes for handwriting...
