sparkly sparkle

[almost] everything hurts. but not in a bad way!!!

tonight, a night of a full moon and heart, was prom~ 

if you recall what i said before, i wasn't really feeling all that hyped about the event. i was anticipating spending it mostly alone and uncomfortable and overwhelmed. but i had a great time. my hair and makeup looked pretty good-- courtesy of my lovely sister and mother-- and i wore a really pretty dress with nice accessories. lots of pictures were taken. and while i don't like the more professional ones, there's also a lot from the event itself so i'm excited to look at those more.

the venue was really pretty too, so classy and chic. marble and stone, multiple floors with intricate carvings and light fixtures... the music was nice too, lots of nostalgic and current hits. there was also some food, but i only had a brownie sundae and some water. ate a lot beforehand, yk?

but the best part of all was that i spent the entire event with my friends. we took pictures, enjoyed the music, danced with each other and walked around the space. i'm really happy. and i'm really thankful for them. i guess that post days ago was just insecurity talking. 

one thing tho................. i wish they played lady gaga--
