i got... the most heinous spark of inspo late last night for a new layout. not heinous in that the idea or the source of inspo is bad, but it's been a while since an idea hit me in the way it did-- like a vision, lolz. 

basically, i want to return to the cybersphere...

but i don't want to bring back my minidiscs layout just yet. i kept it for... how long, like, five months? and while i do adore it, i still think it's too soon to bring it back since i had it for such a long time. 

and then, i happened to think again about the mv for kat-tun's signal! cool and bright, yet nostalgic, exactly what i had in mind... compared to the minidiscs layout i had (with real face gifs), this one seems cleaner and more...sterile? if that makes sense? but i think that makes it more immersive. 

and, as i mentioned before, it sorta reminds me of side order! what fun. combining two of my loves... 

this is already gearing up to be my most ambitious layout yet, so we'll see how it goes. hopefully it'll turn out well.
