i dropped my pie on the floor!!! um. anyway. 

we're fully moving into the holiday season, and while i'm looking forward to just getting all the hard first-semester and college app stuff out of the way, i'm also really glad to have so much coziness and rest to look forward to. it may be weeks from now, but hey, that's better than months or years. and truly, everything is only a matter of days.

i was planning to hang out more with people i love and share this blog/more of myself to them over this break, but. oh well. when the time comes, the time comes. 

basic life stuff aside, i don't think i've ever talked about editing videos here.

it's something i've been fairly chipping away at as a hobby; taking songs i find comforting at the moment and making them more of a comforting experience, if that makes sense. i slow it down a bit, add rain sounds and a little echo… and then, somehow, it ends up feeling dreamy and soft. whispering me into another world of dreamless sleep.

i find it a lot of fun, really. they always end up reminding me of how songs like them felt when i was younger. much more melancholy, but also something to find solace in now. i dunno.

perhaps when i return to my computer, i'll add the link to my channel on the side. in the meantime, be well. stay cozy and healthy. i'm happy to be here, and i'm happy for you, too.
