melt and morph

in the wake of everything, i forgot to tell you about a strange dream i had today. 

i found myself in what my brain assumed to be the southern states of my country (for whatever reason-- i've never been there, and i never plan to go. sorry to those who live there), and i had to be very careful with what i did, said, and went. at one point, i had to go to the airport to leave, and took a taxi. or maybe the person was a friend?

either way, we were suddenly chased. and as i desperately got out of the car to enter the airport with my bags, i was met by a machine/shop in the middle of it that would change your physical features. i don't remember if i went to it out of curiosity, or necessity, but i did. it scanned me, and then everything went to black. maybe i was surrounded by something or i closed my eyes; i assumed i closed my eyes. the person manning the machine/store said it would be uncomfortable, but worth it. and then, it was like i was slowly submerged in this strange, viscous, tingly substance from the tip of my nose to my back. i was so uncomfortable that i woke up terrified.

what did any of that mean??? where did it come from??? it's been a while since i've had such an unsettling dream.
