door hinge

i really have to get to bed, so i'll have to keep it short. (but i will not skip another day!!!!!! i wanna talk to u guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:0) 

monday was pretty boring. i stayed in, did some cleaning again, and added a few more things to my school bag. put all my new music in my ipod, packed my things. restful and productive, bleh...

on tuesday, i went out with my mom to a mall. since a big family event is coming up in october, we looked at some clothing stores for fancy-ish outfits. we didn't get anything from those places (it was more inspiration than anything, which is still good), but i got a couple of basic pieces to add to my wardrobe. since i threw out some stuff from my closet a while back, i need to restock on some things. i also found another perfume to fall in love with~ it's heavy cream from phlur! so delicious. i love the influx of lactonic scents we've been having lately. they're perfection...

and today: my first day back on campus, for eels.

it was really light, actually. i only had one class, so i didn't have to stay for long. and the professor of the class got called out super last-minute last night, so we were only there for like... 15 minutes to get introduced to our gsi folks... after that, i went to the library and studied for a bit, and walked around a couple of cd stores. i got a new foster the people cd, supermodel. i still hated it though, if i'm being completely honest, but it's because of the weather. i hate walking up hills in the heat, i'm so sorry guys.

i've also been going through the syllabi coming in finally, and taking care of calendars. this semester will be super heavy, so i must prepare myself well... 

tomorrow, i'll have to stay on campus for eight hours. it'll be hot, again, but i'll try to keep myself cooped up in a building most of the time. and! since my first class is early in the morning, i probably won't have to walk around too much when it's super hot out.
