fingertip circuits

i forgot to mention this. for the web meeting, we met up in the computer lab of the school. or, at least, the computer lab in the student center. maybe the compsci building(s) have more computer labs. the libraries too...

anyway. i'm getting off-topic, lolz.

do you recall how i mentioned some time ago, how i felt that i would end up spending a lot of time in the ethnic studies library, just by feeling? i have that same feeling about the computer lab. it's a very nice space. filled with desktops (of course), the whirring of cooling fans... there's a small shelf of textbooks, where they also display random posters and mecha models. they have a penguin mascot. free printing.

the lighting isn't very warm, but it feels comfortable to me, anyway. perhaps on days i don't have my computer and i just want to work on websites endlessly, i could settle in there. something about desktops has always been particularly fascinating to me too, for some reason.

oh and! the computer lab offers free web hosting. i don't understand self-hosting at all, not a single thing, but this is an easy way to learn, no? easy to access, free (at least for the years i'll be here), with 50gb of database space! isn't that crazy? that's a lot of data. lots to learn. it's exciting.

also. this is random, but i used to love watching a show called japanese style originator. it was on netflix many years ago, and i watched it on my little ipad mini when i was in elementary school. cut to me now searching it up, and it can't be found anywhere!!! no archives whatsoever, no services. the lost media is lost media-ing...

been a while since i've made an extra post. i think i said the same thing last time, months ago. i wish i could do them more often, but it's don't like making short posts like i did a year ago... oh well.
