today's been a pretty quiet sunday, though it is also my mom's birthday! so we will be having some strawberry shortcake later :)
i got up pretty early (i think i'm slowly conditioning myself to... scary), but then went back to sleep after finding out that she left without me, so i couldn't go out lolz. but i did have some chicken nuggets and rice, and played some dynasty warriors before going back to sleep!
wasn't sure what to do with my time other than study (which i did, a little bit, some of my readings), but i suddenly got hit with another jaejoong layout idea. check it out here. i think a perfume song would suit it best. i know minimalism shouldn't be the name of the game because people make it so lifeless and boring, but i can't get over how cute and soft this is!
also, here's the first inspo pic. no idea what hotmonkey is, but they sure had a cool site. i then went looking for images of jaejoong, found that one, and knew my layout was set~
honestly, after this, i think i'll start uploading some of the codes to jinpudding. i'll have them link back to these test pages, so honeydrop will finally have a use, lolz. so i guess that's my next web project, now that i don't have anything else to make layouts for... (and yes, it's named sugarless after the capsule song... nara i fear i am obsessed with it x_x!!!!!!!!!!!!)
honestly, i planned to use this new layout for the murasaki diaries. i wanted to make something minimalist for this space, a combination of my old spacehey style and blogger! it would surely be an interesting test of my skill. but i'm a bit too fond of this current layout right now, so...
random, but i did once try to move the murasaki diaries over to neocities. it appears that process would be an absolute pain, though. this entire blog's got approximately eleven megabytes worth of content, including all the images, links, my words, the structure of the page... everything would also have to be relinked from scratch. and i just do not have that sort of patience, lolz. i don't even know xhtml! it seems completely out of my league right now.
but who knows? maybe i will one day.

i'm no professional at ALL, but imo you seriously have a knack for web/graphic design. every layout you create is always so cohesive! the photos, the fonts, and the overall theme of the layout fit together like a beautiful puzzle. i just love looking at them!! :D (also i'm so glad you love the song!! it definitely reminded me of your vibe!)
a minimalist blog layout would be really cool. but i totally understand not wanting to jump into that rn! sometimes you just get attached to one creation, lol.
oh really? yeah, i bet it would be very tedious. perhaps in the future...

i think i've had a couple of favorite layouts! ofc i loved my mushroom house layout, but i also loved my cyworld inspired one, and that one glossy purple one i had that looked kinda like early facebook. i find that some of my best designs are created in the wintertime... interesting.
