sorry i haven't been updating much; i don't really have anything to say. things have been pretty standard. i finally finished my english essay the other night, and now my brain's all empty, so i can focus better on the work i have.
today, i picked up a vga to hdmi converter, for the old computer i've been meaning to look at. i just don't have a monitor for it... i was thinking, with the converter, i could use a television as a monitor?
i mean, it sounds a little ridiculous, but a tv basically is just a glorified monitor, that can connect to antennae... i'm pretty sure the tv i have also has usb ports, meaning i could connect a keyboard and mouse.
i just don't know if it'll actually work. and why did we stop using it in the first place? did it have a virus or something? usually you can't get viruses through display cables, but i dunno. you never know, right? and what about the password? it's been so long, i don't remember. i don't know if anyone else does. i don't remember if we had a guest account set up for it or not.
hopefully the converter isn't useless, lolz... then i just wasted my money, agh. but it's okay. maybe there'd be a need for it sometime down the line, if my interest in old computers were to continue. or i could resell it. i dunno. we'll see.

i can't stop looking at this pic of akanishi. it's so weirdly peaceful. like yeah, beach n wind and enjoying the sun, but. dutch angle. tension. idk
using a tv as a monitor can actually work!!!! most modern tvs can handle it, though sometimes the resolution looks a little off or laggy depending on the converter. usb ports on the tv for keyboard/mouse? hit or miss... :/ some work, some don’t, so maybe test that first >:D you might have to do some detective work.
and i don't think viruses travel through display cables, so you’re safe there :D don't give up on the computer eugenee!!!

honestly idk much about tvs and monitors so yes just listen to what koi said LOL. but i do hope ur able to get the tv to work.. somehow!

YAYYYYYYY i'm so happy to hear that ehehe. also the tv doesn't have enough usb ports ㅠㅠ but it's ok bcuz i can just connect it to the pc tower!!!!!! thank uuuuuu :D i shall not give up on it!
