remember how the other day, i mentioned i thought i was coming down with something? well, something's happened. 

my tonsils are swollen and my throat is sore, and i can barely speak. it's rough. i've been trying to eat and drink cold things all day to ease the scratchiness when i swallow, but it always comes back. going to bed is going to be hard...

i've spent most of the day working on the site, browsing youtube, playing samurai warriors, that sort of thing... i'm painting right now, really, waiting for the first layer to dry. it's going to be inspired by iris by the goo goo dolls. usually when i apply the first layer, the song begins to play in my head that corresponds to the palette i see, and that's what it is. so!

to be honest, it's nice to have a physical medium i can be consistently proud of (myself, with... i'm proud of my work, i mean to say).

hopefully this sickness doesn't last too long, or get much worse. i said i wanted to go out more this month... ㅠㅠ
