unreleased

eugene here. the weather's lovely today-- nice and cloudy and cold. the skies are grey. i wish i could go out to the library or bookstore, but i guess it's just not in the cards for today. 

anyway. i wanted to chat about paramore's b-sides. 

this was mentioned before, but i've been a paramore fan for most of my life. yet, i keep forgetting about their totally awesome unreleased demos!!! they're usually referred to as unreleased b-sides though, i think, referencing the fan-made compilation. some of the songs on the compilation have been released since, but those are few and far between.

most of the songs people refer to as the "b-sides" are from awkif to the riot era. to be honest, while they're definitely paramore, a lot of them also sound fairly different from what you'd expect of their sound, which isn't surprising considering this was super early-on in their band-ness.

forgot when i first found them, but they're honestly such a well-kept secret, and super underrated.

obviously, there's a million more out there. i think the compilation had, like, 36. 

(and in my search for all the b-sides i could remember, i found throwing punches... and now i have it on repeat!!! kelp!)

but, yeah. if you're a paramore fan, you def need to know of these songs!!! go search for them. it's so much more fun finding them on your own, like buried treasure. (because that's what they are, lolz.)
