eugene's back~ the day wasn't as strange as they thought it would be, but it was a fascinating one. they went to the family storage unit with their mom and their siblings to sort through old stuff.
it's sort of fascinating to see just how much they had and saved over the years, despite having to throw out a lot of it -- sometimes you have to let go of things. but, in comparison to me, they have so much physical media to remember their past from. most of my memories are digital. this is truly a [more] digital age.
we also found my sister's old mac she won from a contest. she wasn't able to get into it, and obviously it wouldn't be able to connect to the internet anymore, but i'm fascinated by the prospect of getting it to work. we also found some books, some cute accessories and clothes, stuffed animals... it was nice.
haven't really done anything since then-- watching more tv with my mom. my room is an inferno so i probs won't be able to stay in there comfortably until, like, 23:00. oh well. that's how it is.

update: found the ios discs to go with the old mac? if we could get the computer out again it could work...
