paramore

small story time!

my sister used to really love paramore. i don't remember the exact reason(s) why, but because of her former love, i used to hear a lot of their songs when i hung around her. 

the song i remembered the most was never let this go. so, when i gained interwebs access, i tried looking for it. the moment i finally did, when i heard the intro, something deep in my brain unlocked. not a specific memory, but a feeling. it's hard to describe, but it's a sort of mixture of sadness and comfort. loneliness, but self-assurance. maybe a bit of nostalgia? i really couldn't tell you.

to this day, i listen to old paramore (specifically all we know is falling) when in need some angsty comfort. it always works.
